Duties Assist the Lead Teacher in developing and executing age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development, literacy education, and hands-on activities tailored to preschoolers' needs. Engage actively with children during daily routines, including circle time, outdoor play, arts and crafts, and physical education activities. Implement behavior management strategies that promote positive social interactions and respect among children. Collaborate with team members to support children with special education needs or those requiring early intervention services. Monitor developmental progress through observation and documentation, contributing to assessments aligned with childhood development standards. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or classroom behavior. Skills Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, including Montessori methods and toddler care practices. Experience in classroom management, lesson planning, and implementing curriculum across various subjects such as math, literacy, and physical education. Familiarity with working with children of diverse backgrounds, including those requiring special education or early intervention support. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists effectively. Ability to manage classroom behavior constructively while fostering a positive learning environment. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to preschool assessment tools. Passion for working with young children and a commitment to their overall well-being and development.
