Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity near Southlake, TX, supporting high school students as a dedicated Paraprofessional. This position is tailored for those passionate about making a difference—specifically working 1:1 with a Resource/Inclusion student to foster growth, academic achievement, and independence. The Senior High principal is eager to bring on a skilled paraprofessional who can be attentive, compassionate, and positively impact the student's high school experience.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or in a similar support role in a school setting Familiarity with Resource/Inclusion programs and strategies Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude Ability to provide individualized assistance while maintaining professional boundaries Patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic about student development High school diploma or GED required; additional training or certifications are valued
Core Responsibilities:
Work closely with a Resource/Inclusion student in a 1:1 capacity, providing academic, social, and behavioral support as directed by educational professionals Assist the student with classroom activities, assignments, organization, and skill-building Help implement instructional plans and adaptations for student success Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and administration to monitor progress Foster an encouraging, safe, and inclusive learning environment Support student participation in classroom and school events This contract position offers you a chance to play a significant part in a student's educational journey while working within a supportive team atmosphere.
