In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for children across early childhood and preschool ages. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a love of learning while ensuring each child's developmental needs are met. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in planning and executing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and social-emotional development Support children's learning by engaging them in age-appropriate activities that promote curiosity, creativity, and independence Help manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies Provide hands-on care for children, including toddler care, early childhood education activities, and Montessori or preschool-based methods Collaborate with the team to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities or special needs, including those with autism or developmental disabilities Use American Sign Language (ASL) or other communication methods to facilitate understanding and interaction with children who have communication challenges Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Requirements Prior experience working with children in classroom settings, including preschool or childcare environments Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and curriculum development Familiarity with special education strategies, behavior management techniques, and classroom management skills Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays; familiarity with IEP processes is preferred Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members Certification or training in Deaf education or working with individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing is a plus Ability to work collaboratively within a team dedicated to inclusive education practices Passion for teaching and supporting the growth of young learners in diverse settings Join us to inspire young minds and help shape their educational journey!
