Primary Purpose:
Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.
Qualification Guidelines:
Education/Certifications:
Bachelor's degree from accredited university Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned
Experience:
At Least 3 Years of Teaching Band preferred UIL Concert & Sight-Reading 1st Division Success preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
General knowledge of music curriculum and instruction Capitalizes students' interests to engage students to become independent musical performers Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Extensive knowledge and experience in both the marching and concert performance areas

None
