The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for children. As a Assistant Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and supporting the individual needs of each student. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the community. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and development for all students. Utilize learning technology to enhance educational experiences and engage students effectively. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies. Support children with disabilities by adapting lessons and providing individualized support as needed. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, challenges, and successes. Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and improve teaching strategies. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and practices. Ensure compliance with child welfare regulations and maintain a safe environment for all students. Qualifications Experience working with children in an educational setting is required; experience in private school settings is a plus. Knowledge of child welfare practices and behavioral health principles is highly desirable. Strong skills in physical education or related activities are beneficial for promoting overall student wellness. Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships. Experience using learning technology to enhance educational delivery is preferred. A commitment to ongoing professional development and improvement in teaching practices is essential.
