Job Description

Overview RAOOY is seeking motivated and compassionate Part-Time Program Assistants to support our Fredericksburg programs and services. This position offers an opportunity to make a direct impact in the lives of youth and families while working alongside a dedicated team of professionals committed to accountability, restoration, and positive change. This position hours are 4:00-8:00 pm , three to four days/week Position Overview The Fredericksburg Program Assistant plays a vital role in supporting program operations and participant success. This position serves as a group facilitator for both virtual and in-person groups , provides facilitation coverage as needed, assists with program administrative tasks , and supports case management services for clients referred to the Fredericksburg office. Key Responsibilities ✔ Facilitate engaging youth and family groups in both virtual and in-person settings. ✔ Provide substitute facilitation support to ensure uninterrupted program services. ✔ Assist with case management activities and participant support services. ✔ Prepare program materials and workbooks, collect program data, and complete administrative tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator. ✔ Build positive relationships with clients, families, schools, Court Service Units, and community partners. Qualifications Must be articulate verbally and in writing. Must be organized and is responsible for creating and abiding by systems/procedures. Must possess the ability to communicate meaningfully and persuasively with youth and adults from a variety of different backgrounds, and to present information to small groups. Must have knowledge of implementing programs for at-risk youth and an understanding of risk and protective factors relevant to youth and programmatic approaches to reducing delinquency. Must possess a valid VA driver's license, the ability to drive 7 passenger vehicle, and lift up to 25 lbs. Position requires late afternoon and evenings work as determined by agency needs. This position requires on-going valid CPR/First Aid certification.
Pay:
$20.00 - $21.00 per hour Application Question(s): List days and time blocks you are available for interviews
