In this role, you will work closely with lead teachers to support classroom activities, foster a positive learning environment, and assist students in reaching their full potential. Your energetic approach and commitment to inclusive education will help create an engaging space where children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to early childhood development and special education initiatives in a dynamic setting. Duties Support lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and social-emotional learning. Assist with classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and facilitating smooth transitions between activities. Help maintain a safe, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood education principles such as Montessori or preschool methodologies. Collaborate with teachers on lesson planning, curriculum development, and assessment strategies to support student progress. Assist with classroom routines like snack time, bathroom breaks, and nap schedules for toddlers and preschoolers. Support literacy education and foundational skills in math through interactive activities and hands-on learning experiences. Foster inclusive participation by working effectively with children of all abilities and backgrounds, ensuring each student feels valued and supported. Experience Prior experience working with children in early childhood settings such as preschools or private schools is preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development theories and practices related to preschool and toddler care. Experience supporting students with disabilities, including familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom adaptations for special needs learners. Classroom management skills that promote positive behavior and engagement among young learners. Knowledge of curriculum development tailored for early childhood education, including literacy and numeracy instruction.. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists in a team-oriented environment. Pay:
$13.00 - $15.00 per hour
