Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher Assistant to join our vibrant educational team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting classroom teachers and creating a nurturing environment that promotes early childhood development. Your energy and positive attitude will help foster a love for learning among young children, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and inspired to explore their potential. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth Support children with activities that enhance their developmental skills, including preschool, toddler care, and infant care routines Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by following health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary Engage children in play-based learning activities that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and social interaction Support behavior management strategies to promote positive conduct and emotional regulation among students Help with classroom organization, including preparing materials and setting up learning stations Collaborate with educators and caregivers to monitor individual progress and address specific needs of children with disabilities or special education requirements Requirements Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar roles is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification or training in first aid and CPR is advantageous; willingness to obtain if not already certified Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster a positive learning environment Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and caregivers Passion for working with children and commitment to nurturing their growth through caregiving and teaching activities Join us in creating a joyful, supportive space where children can thrive! Pay:
$14.00 - $17.00 per hour
