POSITION TITLE

This position will remain open until filled. The first screening of applications will take place at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. An essential function of this position is the ability to work in person and physically report for work on site.
JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Special Education Procedural Support and Compliance oversees special education compliance and procedural support across the school division, as part of the overall special education program. The Director is responsible for analyzing division processes and procedures to ensure alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements, and for recommending and implementing system-level improvements as needed. This role includes building division capacity through the development of clear guidance, resources, and professional learning focused on effective procedural practices to prevent disputes and ensure compliance. The Director oversees staff who support schools in procedural and compliance matters and directly supervises the Special Education Compliance Officer responsible for dispute resolution and litigation. In addition, the Director partners with staff, parents, and other stakeholders to promote effective communication, collaboration, and shared responsibility throughout the special education process.
Job Description SALARY:
Grade 20
Salary Range:
$135,998 - $220,455 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package
