Special Education Associate - Washington Elementary

Job description Washington Elementary in the Mount Vernon Community School District is looking to hire four special education associates to help create a positive learning environment where students feel supported, safe, and encouraged to grow. This role works directly with students, both in and out of the classroom, and plays an essential part in our collaborative support team. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with kids, collaborating with a team, and showing up with patience, consistency, and a student-first mindset every day. Rate of pay would be $18.20 an hour and hours of work would be 8 am-3:30 pm except on early outs which would be 8 am - 1:30 pm.
