Together both teachers implement prepared lesson plans, engage, and manage the students as you follow the daily schedule. Teacher assistants also help to evaluate educational and recreational activities for children in a safe environment and work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service. Our early childhood teachers are responsible for assisting the lead teacher with coordinating the daily operations of assigned classes as well as keeping their classroom organized and clean. Requirements Qualifications - vary, depending on classroom: Education - all candidates must have a High School Diploma, be willing to obtain CPR/First aid certification, and be willing to obtain •one•of the following: AA in Early Childhood Education, or related field Child Development Associate (CDA) (or at least 12 college credits in Education) Be currently enrolled in either a CDA or Associate's Degree program All candidates must also have the following: Experience working with young children; school-setting experience is preferred. Comfort with technology for lesson planning and parent communication. Mastery of the English language, as spoken and written, to permit effective communication with parents.
