£95+ per day (dependent on experience) About the Role We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary school setting, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a real difference in children's lives. You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support students both in the classroom and on a 1:1 or small group basis , helping to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities Support pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language needs Assist with the delivery of tailored learning activities Provide 1:1 and small group support to help pupils reach their full potential Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals Help prepare classroom resources and maintain a safe learning environment Requirements Previous experience working with children, ideally within a Primary or SEN setting A patient, nurturing, and flexible approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, TA qualification) is desirable but not essential What We Offer A supportive and inclusive school community Ongoing training and professional development Opportunity to gain valuable SEN experience Competitive rates of pay Dedicated support from your recruitment consultant All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
