This position will primarily support our school-age program, working with children ages 5-12 in a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment. You will assist the lead teacher with going on field trips, if you have a valid license to also give a helping hand with driving that's preferred but not required. There is a preference of 25 years or older in age but that isn't a deal breaker. Responsibilities Supervise and engage school-age children during before-school, after-school, and camp programs Assist lead teachers with daily activities, lesson plans, and enrichment projects Support children with homework and academic activities Promote positive behavior and social-emotional development Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times Help organize indoor and outdoor recreational activities Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization Float between classrooms and age groups as needed to provide support Communicate professionally with staff, parents, and caregivers.
