Assistant Teacher/Floater 1701 Baltic Avenue, Virginia Beach, VA 23451 From $18 an hour - Full-time From $18 an hour - Full-time Located just blocks from the Atlantic Ocean, Organic Beginnings Montessori School is now hiring an assistant teacher for our Children's House (ages 3-6) classroom! Qualifications
- An ability to provide integral support in ensuring the children receive the best quality Montessori experience
- An ability to contribute to a warm, supportive, and calm classroom environment
- An ability to recognize the needs of the guide (lead teacher) and the children
- An eagerness to learn and grow as a professional
- A commitment to education as a means for human development, rooted in a belief and trust in the child
- An ability to consider the beliefs and perspectives of others
- A willingness to support a culture of respect, collaboration and teamwork
