In this role, you will work closely with lead teachers to support the development and well-being of toddlers in a nurturing classroom environment. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a positive learning atmosphere where young children can explore, learn, and grow confidently. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on early childhood development while gaining valuable classroom experience. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing engaging lesson plans that promote literacy, math, and social-emotional skills tailored to toddlers' developmental stages Support classroom management by maintaining a safe, organized, and stimulating environment for young children Provide attentive toddler care, including diapering, feeding, and comforting as needed Encourage positive behavior management strategies that foster independence, cooperation, and respect among children Help facilitate activities aligned with Montessori or other early childhood curricula to enhance learning experiences Collaborate with team members to monitor individual progress and adapt activities for children with diverse needs, including those with autism or disabilities Maintain open communication with parents and guardians about daily activities and developmental milestones Requirements Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and classroom management techniques Familiarity with special education strategies, behavior management, and working with individuals with disabilities or autism is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members Ability to assist in lesson planning and curriculum development focused on literacy education, math skills, and overall child growth Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields is advantageous Demonstrated patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for working with toddlers Join us in creating a joyful learning environment where every child feels valued and inspired!
