Full-time Eden Central School is Anticipating the need for a caring and collaborative paraeducator to work within our joyful community of learners.

Assist in the educational and social development of learners under the direction and guidance of the special educator and classroom teachers.
Assist in supporting learners Individual Education Plans under the direction of the classroom teacher and special educator
Provide support for the individual, small group, and classroom size groups of learners inside and outside the classroom
Work with other professionals, such as speech therapist, student support,occupational and physical therapists to support learners.
Assist and partner with classroom teachers to meet the needs of each individual
Use positive supports for learners with emotional or behavioral needsIn Addition, the ideal candidate will:
Participate in all professional learning opportunities as designated
Perform all duties as assigned
Enjoy and collaborate within a learner-centered team environment.
