The primary work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday , with flexibility for occasional Monday and evening shifts. Reporting to the Education Manager and the Eastern Washington Facility and Apprenticeship Manager, the role involves classroom instruction, facility organization, and mentorship responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities :
Plan, prepare, and manage course delivery for a minimum of 4 electrical classes per quarter. Ensure safety training is integrated into all classroom and lab activities. Manage inventory and materials within the approved budget. Ensure that classrooms and labs are organized and meet CITC safety standards. Submit student attendance and grades for craft training, apprenticeship, and CEU classes. Responsible for proper classroom management. Assist with instructor training and meetings as needed. Attend CITC administrative meetings as required and/or needed. Support CITC Instructor Training and Professional Development Program. Assist with instructor correspondence as needed. Support the development and build out labs. Support and assist in the instructor recruitment process. Assist with mentorship and coaching for new instructors as needed. Assist with the quarterly craft training registration process. Provide support for craft curricula committee meetings as needed. Attend CITC outreach events as needed All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
At least 4 years of on-the-job experience as a journey-level General Electrician O1. Active, and maintain active, General Electrician O1 journey-level certificate. Strong communication, organizational, and MS Office Suite skills. Team Player Flexible Self-directed Able to maintain a professional attitude and image Able and willing to travel throughout Washington State on a frequent basis Experience in the education sector is desirable. Pay:
$78,000.00 - $87,500.00 per year
