Assistant Teacher

Quality childcare in Cashmere is looking to add a fun, dependable and flexible person that enjoys working with children ages 1-5 years to their team! Must be 18+ years and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Able to pass a background check and acquire all necessary state certifications in a timely manner. Approx. 35 hours per week. No weekends or holidays! Previous experience preferred but not required. Responsibilities

• Provide care and supervision to children in a classroom setting
• Assist in implementing educational activities and lesson plans
• Support lead teacher in managing classroom dynamics and behavior
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your care
• Help with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and outdoor play
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive learning environment
• Utilize knowledge of early childhood education to support children's development
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns
• Continuously engage in professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in childcare and education.
