Kids Piano & Keyboard Summer Camp - Assistant Instructor After School Audio Seattle, WA Job Details Part-time $30 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Behavior management Teaching arts Working with children Classroom experience Music composition Full Job Description After School Audio leads inspiring music classes that serve the mission to "Cultivate Creative Confidence and Awareness in Young Minds." We aim to give kids a joyful first experience with music, where they learn music primarily by making it. We are opening-up a position for an Assistant to support the Primary Instructor of a large group of beginner-level K-1st grade kids in learning piano, though a wholistic approach - by playing several fun games and activities. Support the Primary Instructor with music games and activities, like "Simon Says," by getting involved with the kids on their keyboards, and answering questions/handling behavior issues while the Primary Instructor is teaching. Support confidence-building by encouraging kids to take steps outside their comfort-zone by demonstrating the joy of expression and inviting them to collaborate in order to witness and take-part-in the creative process, in-action. Create positive experiences focussing on simple productive communication and positive reinforcement guidance. Experience working with kids Experience playing piano Ability to perceive needs and meet them without instruction July 13-17 1pm-4pm Each camp meets for 3-hour sessions each day, for one week. Camps are located at a school in the Laurelhurst neighborhood of Seattle. Join us in supporting the next generation in becoming confident creators and expressing their unique spirit through music!
