Job Description

Make a difference and consider becoming a Library Media Center (LMC) Paraprofessional at the Kimberly Area School District! We are looking for passionate, patient, and supportive individuals to join our team at Woodland Elementary School (4K-4th Grade). This is a rewarding, part-time 10-month position where no prior experience is required ! We are committed to providing the necessary training to help the right candidate succeed in this important role. If you have a High School Diploma and a desire to help students, we encourage you to apply! Hours and Schedule This position begins on August 25, 2026 . It is part-time, totaling 17.5 hours per week, with a consistent schedule: Tuesday, 8:00am - 3:45pm (45 minute unpaid lunch) Wednesday, 8:00am - 3:45pm (45 minute unpaid lunch) Thursday, 12:15-3:45pm What You'll Be Doing (Training Provided) As an LMC Paraprofessional, you'll be a vital part of supporting our students.
Your responsibilities will include:
Contribute to the efficiency of, operation, friendly, and inviting atmosphere of the media center Assist individual students and staff in locating reference materials Keep media center materials and equipment in working order and current Read to small groups of students and listens to individual students read What We Are Looking For We believe the most important qualities for this role are a positive attitude and commitment to student success.
