Green Bay, WI Job Details Part-time From $15 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Interpersonal skills Education Working with students Relationship building Associate's degree Full Job Description Before School Care Supervisor & Early Childhood Instructional Support Aide Saint Joseph School - Green Bay, WI Saint Joseph School is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic individual to serve as a Before School Care Supervisor and Early Childhood Instructional Support Aide . This unique position combines supervision of our morning before-care program with instructional support for students in Preschool through Grade 2. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children, creates a warm and welcoming environment, and is passionate about supporting students' academic, social, and emotional growth. Because this position serves as the opening presence of the school day, dependability and responsibility are essential. The successful candidate will be highly reliable, punctual, and trustworthy, consistently arriving on time and prepared to provide a safe, positive start to each student's day. As one of the first staff members in the building each morning and the first point of contact for many students and families, this individual plays an important role in setting the tone for the school community. Applicants do not need to be Catholic to apply; however, they should be supportive of the mission and values of Catholic education. Before School Care Monday-Friday 6:30-7:40 AM Students may be dropped off beginning at 6:40 AM Flexible scheduling options available Before School Care Responsibilities Create a safe, supported, and welcoming environment for students before the school day begins Supervise approximately 5-10 students each morning Follow strict safety school check-in and attendance procedures Facilitate activities, games, reading, or enrichment opportunities that help students ease into their day Build positive relationships with students and families Walk students to their classrooms at 7:40 AM Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly program space Instructional Support Aide Additional daytime hours available based on candidate availability and school needs Work with Preschool, Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 2 students Instructional Support Aide Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in Preschool through Grade 2 classrooms Support small-group instruction in literacy and mathematics Facilitate hands-on learning activities and educational games Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce skills introduced by the classroom teacher Prepare instructional materials and learning centers Support classroom organization and daily routines Assist with student supervision during transitions and other assigned times Foster a positive, encouraging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment Qualifications Experience working with children required Educational background in education, child development, childcare, or a related field preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff Dependable, flexible, and organized Passion for helping young children learn and succeed Compensation & Benefits Starting at $15/hour Employees whose child attends before care on days they are scheduled to work may utilize the program free of charge.
