Job Description
Assistant Teacher - Infants & Toddlers Little Bear Learning Center Little Bear Learning Center is seeking a caring, dependable, and flexible Assistant Teacher to support both our Infant and Toddler classrooms. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with younger children and is comfortable helping in multiple classrooms throughout the day. We are looking for a team player who can provide nurturing care, support classroom routines, and help create a safe and engaging environment for children. Responsibilities Assist Lead Teachers in daily classroom routines and activities Support both Infant and Toddler classrooms as needed Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment Interact positively with children through play, care routines, and learning activities Assist with feeding, diapering, toileting, and nap routines Support children's social-emotional development through positive interactions Help supervise children and ensure safety at all times Work collaboratively with teachers and leadership What We're Looking For We are seeking someone who: Is dependable and flexible Enjoys working with infants and toddlers Has a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills Is patient, nurturing, and attentive Can adapt to different classroom needs throughout the day Understands the importance of consistency and child safety Qualifications Previous childcare experience preferred Wisconsin Registry credentials (or willingness to obtain) preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced childcare environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Why Join Little Bear Learning Center?
