Sauk Prairie High School offers an academy for students at risk of falling behind and becoming credit deficient. The goals of Eagle Academy include: academic support and relationship building as well as structure, stability, and accountability. 15-18 students every year voluntarily agree to join this cohort for the next two years and take their core subjects of English, math, social studies and science together. Additionally, they have a structured study skills class with Eagle Academy Staff. Juniors and seniors, while their classes are no longer cohorted, continue to receive support to ensure they get the credits they need to graduate and pursue post secondary plans. As a general education aide, you will join an alternative education team of 2 teachers and 2 other support staff. You will work alongside a licensed classroom teacher to provide support in the general education classroom, as well as study habits support in a structured study hall environment. Previous work in an educational setting is preferred but not required.

District Description:
The district includes Sauk City and Prairie du Sac, two "next door" villages known as Sauk Prairie. They are located on the beautiful Wisconsin River. Thirteen towns and the village of Merrimac are also in the district. The area features rolling hills, meadows, bluffs, forests, lakes and streams. The district offers small-town, rural living with easy access to the Madison urban area (25 miles) and to the Wisconsin Dells recreation area (28 miles). The district serves 2,800 students, and comprises six learning communities with a high school of 850 students, middle school of 600 students and four elementary schools of 1,350 students.
