We are looking for passionate, purpose-driven Assistant TeacherAt LUCDA, you're not just filling a role… you're making an impact. Job Summary The Assistant Teacher supports the Classroom Teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children enrolled in LUCDA programs. This position assists with classroom instruction, daily routines, supervision, behavior support, and implementation of curriculum activities while helping children build social, emotional, cognitive, and developmental skills. Assistant Teachers work collaboratively with classroom teams, specialists, and families to support school readiness and positive child outcomes. Minimum Requirements Coursework in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or Child Development Experience working with young children in a preschool setting Associate's Degree or Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred Ability to communicate clearly and concisely Commitment to LUCDA philosophy and program Consistent attendance record Why Work at LUCDA?
