Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a love of learning, promote social-emotional development, and ensure each child's individual needs are met. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early years while developing your skills in childhood education. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans that incorporate literacy, math, and curriculum development tailored to preschool-aged children Support classroom management by maintaining a positive and structured environment conducive to learning and exploration Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote social skills, creativity, and early childhood development Help with classroom organization, including preparing materials for lessons and maintaining a clean, safe space Work closely with children with special needs or disabilities, including those with autism or requiring toddler care, ensuring inclusive participation Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to support ongoing development and address individual needs Support behavior management strategies that foster respectful interactions and emotional regulation among students Qualifications Prior experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or private school setting is highly preferred Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including Montessori or other curriculum frameworks such as literacy education and math fundamentals Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families Ability to plan engaging lessons and activities that support childhood development milestones Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory Join us in shaping the future by inspiring young minds! Pay:
$12.75 - $16.00 per hour
