Director of Federal ProgramsWORK DAYS
25 Hours per Week SALARY (STIPEND) $35.00 per HourLOCATION

EXEMPT NON EXEMPT JOB DESCRIPTION
To provide instructional support to eligible private school Title I Students, and communicate effectively with students, families, administrators, and Private School teachers in the school community as well as theLEA. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrate the ability to work with students to help them understand key concepts and remediate academic concepts and content for students in need of additional instructional support in one or more of the core content areas Meet with students in small groups and/or individually to implement assigned content-area objectives Implement activities using a variety of instructional strategies and techniques to meet state standards, goals, and objectives Establish and maintain standards of student behavior to ensure a conducive learning environment Maintain and submit, upon request, accurate, complete and correct records as required by federal and state law, district policy, and administrative regulations Exhibit positive human relation skills Communicate with students, parents/guardians, and educators concerning students' academic needs and progress Establish a positive relationship with students, parents, and co-workers Provide feedback to Private School Administrators or designee as well as BCS Federal Program Director or designee Demonstrate proficiency in written an oral communication Coordinate with classroom teachers concerning the students' academic program and Title I needs Protect confidentiality or records an information about students and staff. Also, use discretion, when sharing information Adhere to school system rules, administrative procedures, local board policies, and state and federal guidelines and regulations Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Federal ProgramsQUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university; A valid Alabama Teacher's Certificate; Must meet Every Student Succeed Act (ESSA) federal and state requirements or a willingness to meet the requirements within the designated timeframe; Such above qualifications as the Board may require.APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Salary and work year to be established by the LEA in consultation with the private school. The funding for and duration of this position are finite. Pursuant to the Students First Act of 2011, Section 4(3) (b), tenure may not be gained by time served in this position .PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
