Position Overview Middle Tree is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time Math Intervention Tutor to support students at a local elementary school with San Juan USD. This position will provide targeted math intervention services to students who need additional academic support in mathematics. The tutor will work directly with students during the school day, delivering engaging, standards-aligned instruction designed to improve math skills, build confidence, and promote academic growth. This is a full-time position (30 hours per week) and includes benefits. Responsibilities Provide small-group and/or one-on-one math intervention support students. Deliver targeted instruction aligned with grade-level math standards and intervention goals. Assess student understanding and adjust instructional strategies to meet individual learning needs. Create engaging lessons and activities that reinforce key math concepts and skills. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and intervention outcomes. Collaborate with school staff and program supervisors to support student success. Utilize data to identify learning gaps and track academic growth. Foster a positive, supportive, and encouraging learning environment. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when working with students and school personnel. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Child Development, or a related field (preferred). Previous experience tutoring, teaching, or providing academic intervention to elementary-aged students. Strong understanding of elementary mathematics concepts, instructional strategies, and intervention techniques. Experience working with elementary students, particularly 5th grade, is highly preferred. Ability to build positive relationships with students and motivate them to succeed. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Patience, flexibility, and a passion for helping students achieve academic success. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required. Must successfully pass a background check and TB clearance. Schedule 30 hours per week 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday Follows the school-year calendar for approximately 29 weeks Program begins at the start of the upcoming school year Work hours will be scheduled during the regular school day Benefits Full-time position eligible for company benefits Consistent weekly schedule Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student achievement Professional development and support from an experienced educational team
