Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a Spanish Tutor to provide personalized, engaging language instruction for students of varying ages and proficiency levels. The role focuses on developing language skills, cultural understanding, and confidence through tailored lessons, interactive teaching methods, and ongoing assessment.
Key Responsibilities Lesson Planning:
Create lesson plans that match students' goals and learning styles using textbooks, digital resources, and authentic cultural materials.
Instruction:
Deliver interactive lessons emphasizing communication, conversation, and practical language use.
Assessment:
Monitor progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to guide improvement.
Cultural Integration:
Incorporate cultural knowledge from Spanish-speaking regions to enrich language learning.
Adaptability:
Adjust lessons to meet individual or group needs and evolving student progress.
Communication:
Maintain clear communication with students and, if applicable, parents regarding progress and goals.
Technology Use:
Utilize language-learning apps, online platforms, and multimedia to enhance instruction. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, Linguistics, or related field. Native or near-native Spanish proficiency. Teaching or tutoring experience preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and cultural competence. Familiarity with language teaching methods and educational technology. Patience, flexibility, and passion for helping students learn. Certifications (Preferred): Teaching certification (e.g., TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent).
Working Conditions:
May involve flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, to accommodate students' schedules. Proficiency certifications (e.g., DELE, ACTFL).
