Job Description

Seeking In-Person French Tutor for Rising 8th Grader We are looking for an engaging, patient, and organized French tutor to work with a rising 8th grade student this summer and into the school year. The goal is to strengthen foundational skills and fill any gaps in learning by reviewing and reinforcing all key material from both 6th and 7th grade French.
Responsibilities:
Review and organize prior French coursework, notes, quizzes, and assignments from 6th and 7th grade Identify areas where additional support and reinforcement are needed Build confidence in vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, reading comprehension, and conversational skills Create a structured but encouraging learning environment Help prepare the student for a strong start to 8th grade
French Schedule:
Meet in person 1-2 times per week Flexible scheduling based on availability Sessions ideally begin this summer and continue into the school year if a good fit
Ideal Candidate:
Strong background in French language instruction Experience working with middle school students Patient, encouraging, and able to make learning engaging Organized and comfortable creating lesson plans based on prior coursework Please include: Relevant teaching or tutoring experience Availability General location References if available
Pay:
$100.00 - $175.00 per hour
