For the Palmdale SOAR High School campus, we are currently hiring new AVID tutors for the 2025-26 school year in September at an hourly rate of $16.00 on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9am-3:15pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:05a-1:30p, and Fridays 8:30am-3:30p. We particularly would like tutors who've had high school higher-level math/science classes but welcome all applicants. Applicants MUST be enrolled in college classes, be at least 18 years of age to apply, and must have either a California ID/a driver's license. With the application, the applicant will be required to include a professional/character letter of recommendation, a copy of CA ID/driver's license, and a copy of high school diploma. Having all this documentation at the time of the interview speeds the hiring process up! After an application is filed a virtual interview will be set up promptly as we are looking to hire for Fall 2026 within the next few weeks before summer begins.
