Indian Vocal Music Tutor Wanted — Krishna Scholars (San Jose) Krishna Scholars San Jose, CA Job Details Contract $30 an hour 18 hours ago Qualifications In-person tutoring Music activities (creative arts teaching) Working with students Performing arts activities for children Singing activities with children Full Job Description Indian Vocal Music Tutor Wanted — Krishna Scholars (San Jose) Krishna Scholars, a home-based preschool rooted in Vedic values and holistic learning, is looking for a warm, experienced Indian vocal music tutor to teach our little ones.
Location:
South San Jose (in-person)
Schedule:
3 days a week, 45 minutes per class
Pay:
$30 per class
Students:
Children ages 2-6 What we are looking for: Experience teaching or singing Indian devotional/classical music Comfortable working with young children in a playful, patient way Knowledge of bhajans, kirtans, shlokas, and simple Indian classical basics Background in Hindustani or Carnatic music a plus, but not required Vegetarian, child-friendly, reliable What you will teach: Simple bhajans and kirtans Basic sargam and rhythm Devotional songs from our tradition If you love music and children, we would love to hear from you!
