IQ Tutorial Center is looking for passionate, responsible, and energetic teachers to join our team! We are an after school education center located in Torrance, providing English, Math, and homework support for TK through 8th grade students. We are currently seeking teachers who can work during our Summer Program beginning in June. Summer Program Schedule June 15, 2026 to August 19, 2026 Monday through

Friday Required Schedule:

Monday through

Friday Morning Shift:

9:30 AM to 12:00

PM Afternoon Shift:

2:30 PM to 5:00 PM Applicants must be available for both shifts.

Important Attendance Requirement:

This is a short term summer program and consistent attendance is extremely important. Due to the nature of the program, teachers are expected to commit to the full summer schedule with no planned absences during the program period. Please apply only if you can fully commit to the schedule.

Responsibilities:

Support students with English, including reading comprehension, grammar, and writing Support students with Math and homework completion Lead fun and engaging academic and physical activities Supervise snack time and student dismissal Create a safe, positive, and respectful classroom environment Observe students and support their academic growth Communicate with students in a patient and encouraging manner

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing a degree Previous teaching or tutoring experience preferred Strong classroom management skills Responsible, punctual, and organized Passion for working with children Reliable transportation to Torrance required If you are passionate about education and enjoy working with children, we would love to hear from you!
