Description Benefits Required Qualifications:

Must be enrolled in at least 6 credits. Must currently be meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), or a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA. Transient and Dual Enrollment students are in eligible for student employment.

Federal Work Study (FWS) and/or Institutional Work Study (IWS) Hours per week: Up to 20 hours.

Days Needed:

Monday through Friday. (Flexible)

Key Responsibilities:

Clarify course-related content to students through one-on-one or small-group tutoring sessions Display an enthusiasticand encouraging attitude with students, staff, and faculty Follow tutoring Best Practices and Integrity Policy Demonstrate awareness of and adherence to ASC policies Be availablefortheentirety of work shifts Perform other duties relevant to the job as requested by the supervisor

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Warm personality and exceptional customer service skills Professional demeanor Excellent communication skills Patience when working with students Strong background in math, science, computer science, accounting, Spanish, and/or American Sign Language B or higher in courses tutored and maintain a 3.0 overall GPA Fundamental digital literacy This position may be subject to a criminal background screening as a condition of employment.
