Job Duties:

Ignite young minds with personalized, one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions. Craft tailored lesson plans to tackle each student's unique learning journey. Make reading come alive through interactive teaching and hands-on activities. Keep a close eye on progress and maintain open lines of communication with parents. Be the guiding light for homework and test prep. Sprinkle in creativity using a variety of resources - from textbooks to educational games.

Other Duties:

In the absence of students, assist the team in a variety of other job related tasks.

Requirements:

Prior tutoring or teaching experience is a big plus. Weave complex concepts into clear, concise explanations with excellent communication skills. Embrace patience and adaptability to cater to each student's unique learning style. Juggle it all with strong organizational skills.

Job Type:

Part-time Pay:

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour

If hired, would you be willing and able to serve as a tutor for a continuous 12-month period? What is the highest level of Math that you feel comfortable teaching? Would you be willing to also teach Reading? If so, which grade levels? Are you available to work Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3pm-6:15pm?
