Christian Elementary Teacher/Tutor Part-Time

This teacher position is for THREE days per week. On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30-3:30pm. Class sizes are

SMALL. 6-16

students per class with two grades per each class. Must be a born-again Christian who lives a Christian lifestyle.

Duties:

• Lead prayer with the class and teach Biblical worldview through the core subjects (as written in curriculum lesson plans provided)
• Teach P.E. every afternoon
• Provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for students
• Use effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior and engagement
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and administrators
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and upcoming events

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (optional)
• Previous experience working with elementary school students
• Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in education
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and administrators
• Experience in special education or working with students with diverse learning needs is a plus
