About the student 9th grade student The student needs to work with a tutor for support for her high school Chemistry class (she is homeschooled!) The tutoring is being funded by an agency so the tutor needs either a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Chemistry OR a teaching certification in Chemistry (Grades 6-12) The student is a 9th grader being homeschooled. She currently understands some parts of Chemistry and not others. She needs help filling in on fundamental concepts. She wants to work with a tutor that can hep her fill in any gaps and make sure her Chemistry knowledge is evenly adequate across the board. The goal is for the student to fill any fundamental gaps she may have for the subject. The family is asking for 1 hour sessions 2 times a week, between 9am-11:30am, any day Monday through Friday. The family is seeking a tutor who can meet at their home in Lithia ? Qualifications Ideal candidates have prior experience working with high school students. Ideal candidates will have prior experience tutoring or teaching Chemistry. Ideal candidates will have either a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a Teaching Certification in Chemistry for grades 6-12. Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles) Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor.
