Duties & Responsibilities Build strong rapport with both students and parents Introduce Spanish throuhg play, songs, stories, and conversation Create a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate learning environment Encourage verbal participation and confidence in speaking Spanish Plan simple, structured sessions while remaining flexible to the child's energy and interests Communicate regularly with parents regarding progress and engagement Maintain professionalism in all interactions with the family and CHA team Provide a safe, positive, and supportive environment Qualifications Fluency in Spanish Experience working with young children (ages 3-6 preferred) Background in early childhood education, language development, or similar field is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Highly developed oral and written communication skills Ability to build relationships effectively and professionally with families and students Ability to create engaging, play-based learning experiences Physical ability to sit for prolonged periods of time, stoop, bend, and move throughout the room Reliable, punctual, and professional Key Competencies Energetic and engaging Patient and nurtutring Self-motivated Skilled communicator Detail-oriented Problem-solver Decision-maker Prepared and organized Critical thinker Flexible and adaptable
