Lead Instructor•Mathnasium (Plantation) We are hiring a Lead Instructor in Plantation to join our team of educators and help lead the instructional experience inside our Mathnasium Learning Center. This Lead Instructor role is ideal for motivated individuals who enjoy working with students, coaching instructors, and ensuring every student receives high-quality math instruction. The Lead Instructor position is a key leadership role within the center and plays an important part in maintaining the quality, consistency, and positive culture of the Mathnasium learning environment. Quick Role Summary As a Mathnasium Lead Instructor , you will manage the classroom during instructional hours while supporting student learning and instructor development. Lead Instructors guide a team of instructors, ensure the Mathnasium Method is implemented effectively, and help create an engaging, organized, and productive learning environment for students. This role blends instructional leadership, mentorship, and classroom management. What We Offer $18.50 hourly rate Part-time leadership role (typically 20-25 hours per week) Opportunities for Growth and Leadership Development across multiple centers Paid training on the Mathnasium Method Supportive leadership team and professional development opportunities What You Will Do Lead the instructional environment as a Lead Instructor Manage the classroom during instructional hours Assign students to instructors and manage instructor-to-student ratios Coach and support instructors to ensure the Mathnasium Method is followed Deliver clear and effective math instruction when needed Review student progress and communicate updates with the Center Director Provide feedback to the Center Director regarding instructor performance Assist with center tours, consultative sales conversations, and student enrollment Support local marketing events and community outreach Serve as Manager on Duty and assume Center Director responsibilities when needed Core Responsibilities Instructional Leadership & Classroom Management Instructor Coaching & Staff Support Student Progress Monitoring Customer Experience & Enrollment Support Center Operations & Team Collaboration Requirements Essential Skills & Qualifications Strong understanding of math concepts through 12th grade Ability to coach and support instructors in delivering effective instruction Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Ability to connect with students, parents, and team members Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Demonstrates good judgment in fast-paced or stressful situations Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Collaborative leadership skills and ability to delegate responsibilities Strong organizational and time management skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace High School diploma or G.E.D. required; some college preferred Schedule & Availability This is a part-time Lead Instructor position.

afternoons and evenings (approximately 1:00 PM•8:00 PM)

Saturday:
