Job Description
English Tutor Are you a passionate and experienced teacher looking for a flexible part-time job in Atlanta? We are seeking an English Tutor to join our team and provide high-quality tutoring services to students of all ages and levels. As an English Tutor, you will be responsible for creating personalized lesson plans, assessing students' strengths and weaknesses, and providing constructive feedback to help them improve their English language skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each student's needs and goals
- Teach various aspects of the English language including grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback on their strengths and areas for improvement
- Utilize creative teaching methods to engage students and make learning enjoyable
- Prepare students for exams or tests as needed
- Communicate with parents or guardians about their child's progress
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching English as a second language (ESL)
- Native English speaker with excellent communication skills
- Patient, passionate, and able to adapt teaching methods to fit students' individual needs
- Knowledge of different teaching techniques and resources for ESL learners
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
