Up to 29 Hours | Spring, Summer, and Fall opportunities. Flexible schedule based on department needs and tutor availability. In person and hybrid modalities are available based on department needs.

Tutors play a key role in enhancing students' academic performance by offering tailored support and guidance. They work closely with students to identify learning challenges, reinforce subject knowledge, and develop effective study strategies. By creating a positive and engaging learning environment, tutors help students build confidence, master key concepts, and achieve their educational goals. Analyze student needs and determine manageable concepts that align with the student's learning style Answer student questions and clarify areas of concern Review classroom or curricula topics and assignments Assist students with homework, projects, test preparation, papers, research and other academic tasks Demonstrate the best academic practices for specific subjects Provide students with positive and constructive feedback Identify student's academic challenges and recommend additional resources or support Perform other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor High school diploma Six months of tutoring experience Proficiency in the subject(s) area being tutored, demonstrated through academic achievement, certifications, or practical experience
