Hebron Middle School is looking for a caring, positive, energetic candidate that will assist Assist in the implementation of education programs by providing comprehensive assessments, evaluations and instruction to meet the needs of parents and children

Position Details Hours:

6 hours per day (plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch)

Contract Length:

183 days per year 170 student instructional days 4 holidays 7 planning days 2 extended days

Contract Adjustments:

Contracted days will be prorated based on the start date

Education:

Must have at least 64 college credits.

Documentation:

Candidates must provide proof of educational requirements to HR upon recommendation for hire. Compensation & Experience Credit Salary for the 2026-2027 school year will be based on Board approved salary schedule. 2025-2026 Pay Scale Starting Pay (Step 0): $23.91/hour Experienced Pay (Step 10): $26.18/hour We value experience! Previous experience working with students, intervention systems, and small-group instruction is strongly desired. New hires may bring up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience. The hired applicant is responsible for submitting the BCPS Verification of Experience Form to prior employers for completion and return to HR.

Payroll Note:

While this is an hourly position, the salary is distributed via a year-long contract over 10 months. You will receive 4 paychecks at the end of June.

Salary Formula:
