About the Role Responsibilities Give students preview/intro to tutoring experience (what they can expect, how they might improve, what tutor can provide them that course alone can not) Prescribe how much/what type of tutoring a student needs based on background with MCAT, experience with MCAT, time until test, amount of time to study Provide student with valuable information that can immediately contribute to their studying (study advice, test taking strategies, high yield content instruction) Generate interest and excitement for Jack Westin tutoring program Tutor students who purchase sessions after initial meeting Document sessions with students to include notes on key takeaways and tutoring recommendations Log all communication with students and advisors Schedule meeting for student and advisor upon session completion Email student prior to meeting with introduction and session reminder Requirements MCAT Teaching Experience (1 year required) MCAT score of 515 or higher High energy, friendly, personable Organized, responsive Excellent written and verbal communication skills CARS score above 128 Job Details Full-time or Part-time $40 - $55 per hour
