In order to ensure that our students have a successful educational experience, our tutors are required to go through some initial and ongoing training in Huntington teaching methods and our highly developed curriculum. Requirements include:

Bachelor's degree required. Teacher's certification a plus. Must be a caring and qualified professional committed to the success of students!

Duties:

• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students in various subjects
• Implement lesson plans provided by Huntington
• Assist students with homework assignments and test preparation
• Provide an enjoyable learning experience for the students

Experience:

• Previous experience working with young students in a classroom, or tutoring setting
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
• Familiarity with different learning styles and strategies for engaging students
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with special education needs
