Yesterday Job Description Seabrook School District is actively seeking a Part-Time Reading Tutor to provide targeted literacy support to elementary and middle school students who require additional assistance in developing foundational reading skills, reading fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. The tutor works with individual students and small groups to deliver evidence-based reading interventions aligned with district curriculum and student learning goals.
Responsibilites:
Provide reading instruction and intervention to students in grades K-8. Deliver lessons using district-approved literacy programs and instructional materials. Support the development of phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and reading comprehension skills. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of student performance. Collaborate with classroom teachers, reading specialists, and administrators to support student growth. Create a positive and engaging learning environment that promotes student confidence and success. Communicate student progress and concerns with appropriate staff members.
