Part-time Tutor Huntington Learning Center - 3.6 Livingston, NJ Job Details Part-time | Full-time $17 - $20 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Math Working with children Bachelor's degree Working with students Literacy education Full Job Description We are seeking English, Math, Science, Elementary, Special Education, Reading Literacy, and Subject Tutoring professionals. NO lesson plans to write, prep, or homework assignments to grade! We are open 7 days a week. Summer Hours (School Year Hours): Monday through
Thursdays:
8:30am-8:30pm (3pm-9:30pm)
Fridays:
8:30am-1pm (3pm-8pm)
Saturdays:
9am-5pm (9am-3pm)
Sundays:
10am-6pm (10am-4pm)
Requirements:
4-year Bachelor's degree Certification/license (required to work with students grades K-10th) Take a portion of the Math/Science of English/Reading section of the ACT if applying for the Exam Prep tutoring positions (no teaching cert required) Minimum of 10 hours of availability a week (including a couple hours on weekend day) All sessions done from the center Responsibilities Provide individualized tutoring sessions in English/Math, adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of each student. Implement engaging curriculum materials that incorporate learning to adapt to the classroom. Managing dynamics effectively, ensuring a positive learning environment. Work with students of varying ages, including children and adults, to enhance their educational experience.
