Math Tutor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a professional, dedicated, and experienced Math Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in one or more of the following subjects: AP Calculus, SAT & ACT math and Advanced Math. The tutor will provide personalized instruction to students seeking to excel in their exams and help them develop mathematical skills and succeed academically.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to students in various subjects such as algebra, geometry, calculus etc.
• Assess students' academic needs and develop personalized lesson plans
• Assist students with homework assignments, test preparation, and study skills
• Use effective teaching strategies to engage and motivate students
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to support students' educational goals
• Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Math or related field (or currently pursuing a degree)
• Experience working with students in an educational setting
• Strong knowledge of the subject area(s) being tutored
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students
