Job Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Part Time Tutors to support middle and upper school students in New York City. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students excel in their academic pursuits through personalized instruction, engaging lesson planning, and effective lesson management. As a tutor, you will play a vital role in helping students excel academically while fostering a love for learning. Job Summary We currently seek educators with superior communication skills and a track record of academic and professional excellence to work with students K-12 and college in several academic areas, including: Math - All grade levels Science - All subjects Reading (decoding, fluency, reading comprehension) Writing (handwriting, composition) Foreign Languages Executive Functioning Skills Test Preparation for ISEE, SAT, ACT, SHSAT, SSAT, TACHS, Regents, AP Job Description Sessions occur at the student's home, school, mutually agreed location or sometimes virtually. Tutoring takes place in a one-on-one with student. Tutors work part-time. Most tutoring takes place after school and weekends. Summer work is available. Tutors work with the same students on a weekly basis.
