m., not to exceed 29 hours per week
Rate:
$22.00 per hour with a valid Teaching License $20.00 per hour with a valid
Educational Aide Permit Job Description:
Center Intermediate School
  • Special Education Tutor Provide small-group and individual academic interventions aligned to student needs and intervention plans.
Support implementation of Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions in reading, math, writing, behavior, and/or executive functioning skills. Work under the supervision and direction of a licensed intervention specialist to implement instructional strategies and accommodations. Assist with progress monitoring and collection of student performance data. Reinforce classroom instruction and support students in accessing grade-level curriculum. Support positive behavioral interventions and classroom management strategies. Maintain confidentiality regarding student records and information in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines. Collaborate with teachers, intervention specialists, counselors, and administrators regarding student progress and needs. Assist in preparing instructional materials and intervention resources. Participate in professional development and training opportunities as assigned. Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families. Perform other duties as assigned by administration or supervising intervention specials. For more information please contact Chad.
