We are hiring Reading Intervention Tutors to deliver structured, evidence-based literacy instruction during the school day using a highly defined instructional model. This role is best suited for individuals who value consistency, precision, and structured environments. Tutors do not design lessons or provide general academic support. Instead, they are trained to deliver a clearly defined instructional routine with fidelity across sessions. Students in this program benefit most from repetition, clarity, and predictable structure. Success in this role requires patience, reliability, and comfort working within a scripted instructional framework. What You'll Do Deliver structured, scripted literacy intervention lessons to elementary students Guide students through phonics-based routines (sound practice, blending, word reading) Provide immediate, precise corrective feedback during instruction Maintain a calm, focused, and structured learning environment Reinforce student engagement through consistent routines and repetition Collaborate with school staff and program leadership What Success Looks Like Successful tutors in this role typically demonstrate: Strong comfort following a structured instructional sequence without improvisation Clear, concise communication with young learners Patience and emotional steadiness when students struggle or repeat mistakes Consistency in applying routines exactly as designed Openness to feedback and coaching Requirements Bachelor's degree required Strong communication skills (clear, direct, and professional) High reliability and punctuality during school-day hours Comfort working in a structured, scripted instructional environment Strong patience and consistency when working with struggling learners Prior teaching experience is not required. All training is provided. Schedule Approximately 16 hours per week Monday-Thursday during school hours only September-May school-year commitment required Consistent weekly schedule once placed in a school No evenings or weekends Training & Support Paid onboarding and structured training Ongoing coaching and instructional feedback throughout the year All curriculum and lesson materials provided Tutors are fully supported in learning and implementing the instructional model.
