The Learning Lounge is NOT a traditional learning/tutoring center. We are a calm supportive, connection-focused learning environment, dedicated to helping children and teens grow in confidence, academics and emotional regulation. We specialize in working with children who have learning differences and believe in teaching the whole child, not just academics.
Our Core Beliefs:
Behavior is communication Regulation comes before instruction Connection drives learning There is no such thing as a "difficult child", only a dysregulated nervous system or need that is not being met. If you are looking for a fast-paced, performance-driven, compliance-based environment, this is not it.Position Overview:

Sees the whole child , not just behaviors or academic performance Flexible and intuitive in their approach to learning Passionate about helping children build confidence and grow their skills Willing to perform a state and national background check Willing to participate in continuing education programs and/or certification training, as needed. Candidates who rely primarily on rigid instruction, control-based behavior management, or one-size-fits-all teaching approaches will not be the right fit for this environment.Responsibilities:
